Everyone said we HAD to try this place. Been sitting here for HALF hour waiting for my order. They're not even busy. Wtf. Never again. Customer service sucks

Asiago bisque was amazing as was the Turkey ranch club. Add avocado! It's like The Panera Bread of St. George!

I had never been here before so we stopped here for lunch. I had the crab roll sandwich and my boyfriend had the BLT. Mine was really good and I can't wait to have another one! We shared a cinnamon roll and they warmed it up and it was delicious as well. The prices are kind of high, but the food is good so I was able to overlook that.

We would go frequently when we lived in Utah county but moved to St. George and everytime we go to Kneaders here it is so packed. They need another location to ease the wait time and small space. Please put another location in St. George!!! We love their French toast and their wild rice and mushroom bisque is divine!

I used to love everything about Kneaders, but today my view has changed. Kneaders use to show their appreciation to veterans with a free meal on Veteran's Day... but I guess times have changed. My wife was told that Kneaders doesn't do that anymore... but gave her no reason as to why. No longer does Kneaders honor the sacrifice of men and women who have fought for freedom. I guess it's just not profitable or not popular or not very important to them anymore. Shame on you Kneaders. There are far more important things to me than food and it looks like the unpopular, unprofitable and unimportant restaurant in my world is you... funny how times change.

Clean and modern. Good service. Reasonable choice. Excellent ingredients. Very rich, thus great flavors. Will return again for a quick meal.

The sandwiches are just as good as I remember from a few years ago and the cookies are so delicious. Out of all the sandwich restaurants I've been to like this one, kneaders is by far the best. The service was good and the sandwiches came out quickly. It was clean and they had plenty of highchairs. It's a great option for a quick lunch in St George.

I'm writing this review solely to disagree with Sheldor U. She/He was upset that this Kneaders wasn't like another restaurant. Its like saying I don't like Pepsi because its not like coke. The review was well written and I feel like it was fair to their opinion however I feel like they were not open to different tastes. That being said, I agree the bakery is great. Try they pumpkin bread, My wife and I are both skinny. We run A LOT. Snacking is not something we do however its not a bid deal for us to polish off a loaf. Its not a huge loaf but the taste is great. I love how they always give you a slice of bread when you go in. Last time I went I tried 2 different soups, one was a tomato base I cant remember, my wife ordered it. I really liked the taste. My cream of broccoli was great, I got it in a bread bowl and there was plenty of food to fill me up. The sandwich we shared was large, crisp lettuce and just the right amount of different sauces to add the right taste without being messy and over the top. While ordering there was no line at all. By the time we finished there was a large line but they promptly got another cashier over and they were working through the people so the wait wasn't more than a minute or two. A new business is expected to have a few kinks, they are doing fine. Overall I say their bread, food and desserts are all grand. I would recommend this place to anyone who asks, "been to Kneaders yet? How is it?"

I have been a long time fan of Kneaders, but the St. George location is AWFUL. 75% our experiences have ended with them forgetting something of ours, messing up our order or serving us below standard food. Is it too much to ask for the person serving me to be somewhat competent? After too many times of being disappointed, I think my relationship with Kneaders is over (at least in St. George). I am going to try out Paradise Bakery and Cafe next time.

I normally love this place, but my experience at this location was dreadful! Waited 45 minutes for two sandwiches that when finally delivered were sloppily prepared, burnt and served on the wrong bread. Save yourself time and trouble and skip Kneaders.

This place is one of three Panera knock offs in St. George and I'm told there's a bonafide Panera in Salt Lake...why can't we have nice things too? Because we're St. George I guess. As a Panera addict I was really hopeful about Kneader's and Paradise (I'll get to them next). It was...meh. The food was lacking and when I asked if the tomato soup was Vegetarian they had to consult a MANAGER because no one seemed to know what vegetarian meant (I might as well have asked for an alien fetus). In the end they only have one veggie soup at a time, which is fine, that's normal and good for them but they should know what's in their food. I ordered the garden sandwich and it was...lacking once I asked for no onions. It was kind of like Subway sans any lettuce (even though I wanted lettuce). It was like this sad little big bread sandwich...with 2 bits of lettuce, one small tomato slice, and fake swiss cheese in a teeeeny triangle. I really wanted to like them, I might give the soup another run, but if that's how their sandwiches go no thanks. Not to mention a sandwich and soup combo runs like $9 (a little high for so little filling!!!) One plus I will give them was an EXTENSIVE bakery case...it was like Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory combined with Panera...it was beyond magnificent and everything we ordered was good (brownies and other chocolate bits.) The cafe seating was nice...except for much like 25 and Main and everywhere in Utah it was riddled with screaming and running children which defeats the purpose of a cafe. Also very oddly, by their choice, they have decorations and gift wrapping (like...a sizable amount for a cafe) on the walls with prices...and so people walking around looking at these bump into people eating. Its very poorly laid out that way and I hope they fix it somehow. I don't think the space is big enough for both.

This place has fantastic sandwiches. I had the Dave's BLT and it was some of the best "eat-out" food I've had. I will remember this place.

Love this place. Everything is so yummy!! The croissants and the German chocolate brownies are to die for!!! Sometimes the lines are long but that is to be expected with good food. I just go at off times. ....oh and to the person that says its a bad Panera knock off... I don't think they are trying to copy them. There's a million of these type places in the country. Panera is not that great anyways. Kneaders is much better!!

This is one of the best places in St George Utah. The evening manager, Shane is a excellent customer service representative and the entire staff are very personable, cooperative, effecient and friendly. Fantastic variety and flavors, breads and desserts are simply, the best, and the place is cozy and clean. I also like meeting friends for lunch or a snack and free Wifi.

The only thing I'm here to review are their salads. The pastries were pretty, but I didn't try any of them. I didn't have a sandwich; nobody in our party did. The entire reason we went there was because they had something like "Voted Best Salads in Utah!" on their sign out front. Well, I was craving a good, hopefully unique salad, so I convinced everyone that we should eat there. They have about seven salads on their menu. It was difficult to pick one out to order, because the descriptions were almost the same for all of them. The three of us each ordered a different salad, but all three salads looked almost identical...pale greens, a couple of rings of red onion, etc. My mom ordered the avocado salad which did have a good-sized portion of perfectly ripened avocado on top, but the rest of it was just like ours. The salads contained almost no vegetables at all. The salads were $7.19 each plus tax...a fair price to pay for a real salad, but real salads these were not. Nothing was rotten or dirty, and there were no bugs in our food, nothing like that. It was just a huge salad disappointment and a total waste of money. The last time I visited St. George, I had a Greek salad at a place called Basila's, not far from Kneaders. I remember the salad being a bit pricey, but it was WONDERFUL and was FULL of good things.

My husband ordered two kinds of soups, salads and bread for my elderly mother who was quite ill and could benefit from some fresh and tasty meals. But we live in Pennsylavania and needed someone willing to deliver. We were fortunate that Kneaders sent two delightful individuals to deliver all these wonderful goodies to her without a fuss. She was delighted. Thanks so very much for helping us help our mother.

Greeted with a slow line at the door, the order taker was slow and confused, the dinning area had loud and screaming children running around. The lobby is noisy. Both of our soups were not hot just luke warm. There was not much chicken salad on my croissant sandwich, tired lettuce and sour cream sauce in the chicken salad. It tasted and smelled sour. The iced tea had a funny tired taste. No manager in sight, just lots of uninterested employees. Don't bother. By the way the bread was pretty good.

The atmosphere this place is interesting but fun. I went in for the French toast and it is by far the best french toast I have ever had. The brown sugar syrup look strange but was phenomenal on the toast . I have since been in with friends to get a pastry and a soda and everything we've tried has been great. I can't comment on anything else other than the French toast and a few pastries but it's all been excellent and fairly priced. There's a good reason their parking lot seems always be busy.

Disappointed. The Food took a long time. I ordered soup in a loaf- but this bread company was out of bread! So they just have me a bowl. & there was a hair in my soup...next time I will go to Paradise bakery across town-much better & better price!

Favorite breakfast in all of Utah. Such great options- amazing French toast and omelets. Cute and clean inside with a very friendly and warm staff. Just a really special place.... Kneaders has much better food than Panera or Paradise. I always feel like I leave Panera eating food that is full of preservatives and could last for weeks in my stomach. Kneaders tastes real. Going back this morning:)....

Awesome salads & sandwiches too. Sure, they sometimes get the orders wrong, but if you call they more than make up for it. Yes it gets crowded (it is that good), however, the restaurant is cute and inviting.

It was interesting to watch the faces of all the people sitting around me who had obviously been waiting awhile for their food. And each order they brought out was usually messed up in some way. The employees appear to be working hard but they're missing something in order to ensure a timely and correct delivery. I waited 25 minutes for a cinnamon roll that was already made.

Great place to eat.. Outdoor seating so you can bring your dog with you. Food options breakfast, sandwiches, soup, salads. If you like Panera this is 10 times better;)

Horrible service. Waited 20 minutes for 3 people ahead of us. Continually out of products. Don't bother go to paradise cafe

Almost perfection but I don't give 5 stars out easy. We're out-of-towners and decided to give Kneaders a second try after a pretty awful experience at another location. We were not disappointed despite a lot of anticipation for the worst. The staff were patient with us figuring out our order and were friendly. Our food came out timely, even though it was peak lunch hour on a Friday. Portions were exceptional and the food fresh tasting. The establishment was clean and kept up. The restroom was also well attended to. We'll be back!

If your grandma opened an adorable little lunch shop this would be it. Chocolate dipped strawberries, caramel apples, mint brownies, orange rolls, homemade bread and delicious soups and sandwiches. We ordered a turkey sandwiches, turkey bacon avocado on focaccia and a chicken salad croissant, along with the broccoli cheddar and chicken tortilla soup. We also bought some orange rolls to go! The breads are all homemade and wonderful. Soft and perfect for the sandwiches you order them on. The soups were good too! I always try and stop here when I'm near the area its always good.

Now this is a place to have lunch! I wanted a baguette following an earlier diner disaster; This would have been the place. Clean Nice, New, Smells Great. So Inviting. And Bustling with life. Igot my baguette and sampled several other breads. The sandwiches that I saw looked very good and I will return to this place on my next trip to this city. The baguette turned out very good. It was more like french bread in that it was sweet. I will be back tasting the other breads and baked goods. Oh the cupcake counter - so many choices - oh what is an eater to do?

Came here twice already whenever I would stop over in St George on my way to home to Cali or on my way to SLC (for school) and each time I came here I would always get their "Eat All You Can Eat French Toast" for breakfast and wow. It's well worth it IF you do plan on getting additional French Toasts beyond the first plate. Let me tell you, their French toast are BOMB! And they're really thick too so it fills you up pretty fast. I'm not a fan of whip cream and strawberries but theirs are really great! A perfect combo for French Toast. I always try to make my money's worth and get a third batch. But I would get a to go box to take it home and eat for later. The ambience of the place is a "feel at home" and cozy type of place and the workers were always friendly and welcoming. If you're around the place. Put this place under your bucket list.

Came here for breakfast with my bestie . We are needing to go to work so we just ordered oatmeal and hot chocolate. 30 minutes later...... My chocolate is just sitting there and when I asked the lady to give me my chocolate she just looked and ignored me. Then when she got around to it handed it to me without even looking at me and just turned around . Such a shitty service.

I like the food here. It gourmet soup and salad type fair. With good sandwiches on artisan breads. The dining room is full of noise. Sit outside if the weather allows. I would go 5 stars but the staff seems to have a "get you in, get you out" attitude. The person who delivered my food to the table slapped it down without a word. Perhaps they were having a bad day.

My first time visiting while traveling through SG. I've heard many good reviews from my friends. A family member didn't get it, I mean it's a bakery. With that being said, it's an amazing bakery with rolls, orange rolls , zucchini bread (highly recommend) on the menu are sandwiches and salads, soups and coffees, smoothies and such. I really enjoyed it, but since maybe I Haven't tried the French toast breakfast, it's another good sandwich/bakery place. I love the decor and the gifts too. I enjoy Panera , Cafe Zuppas and bread It's all good to me!

  • Dave N.

I haven't been here much except for breakfast. I usually just get the unlimited french toast (and by unlimited i mean 1 slice, maybe 2 if I'm really hungry, lol) I really liked breakfasts here but haven't been back in a while. This is mostly due to the incredibly long wait times that I've experienced.

Third time is the charm, or so it's said. Lemme tell ya, don't even waste your time. The tables are always dirty While always friendly, always understaffed And now for the pastries... Which taste like they're made by a ham-fisted scullion w no knowledge on how to create a delicate pastry. The custard isn't light and flavorful, but rather a twenty-pound flavorless pudding. If you like American pasties, that's all calories-and-sugar... Then this nightmare is your kinda place. But if you'd prefer a pastry that is delicately delectable... Run away as fast as you can

Normally we love Kneaders. However the experience we had last night was not up to their franchise standard. We had to wait 20 minutes for our order when no one else was waiting for their orders. When we received our order, the frozen hot chocolate was awful. Again, other locations have been great but I do not recommend this location.

    (2)
  • Jacob S.

Don't go here if you want timely food or strong coffee. Took 15 minutes for a walk-in order of a pre-made bakery item and an iced coffee! C'mon man! A beverage that you pour on ice and an item you grab out of the display? Plus it was all milk n sugar, I watched her pour maybe 2 oz of coffee in a freaking large size coffee.

Hungry after a not so great experience at "Ronnie Pastrami's" I decided to pop in Kneaders for a sandwich. Inside is smelled wonderful. It was clean and I was greeted. Since it was my first time I needed a moment to look over the menu. They had a lot of tasty sounding selections. I decided on the "Turkey Cranberry Croissant". It cost $5.99 before tax and came with a side salad. It was delicious! I noticed some loaves of bread on a rack t hat looked sinfully delicious and asked what it was. The cashier said it was "Chunky Cinnamon Bread". She said you can buy it like that or come in sometime for breakfast because between 7am-11am you can get all you can eat french toast that is made from the chunky cinnamon bread!! You have to eat inside though to get the all you can eat deal. I know what I am trying next time! They offer different soups depending on what day of the week it is. They have a drive-thru. They have plenty of outdoor seating if you prefer not to eat inside.

It's probably not possible to ruin Kneaders breakfast but this location has sure ruined their lunch several times for me. Mistakes on orders, and sloppy / hard to like presentation has been my experience here. It's a shame because Kneaders is typically so good. I'm feeling like I need something to wash the taste out of my mouth from this sandwich.

  • Rex J.

Okay, I'm not much of a sweets kind of person so I could really care less about the pastries, desserts, etc. I'll tell you this though, the bread (specifically the Asiago, and the Sourdough) is absolutely fantastic! I could eat that all day long. Another favorite of mine is the Tomato Soup. Bundle that with a loaf of their bread and I'm a happy camper.

    (5)
  • Kolby T.

Some of the food is hit and miss and it can be super busy and crowded. I like the fresh fruit tart and bread pudding. Get a ham and cheese sandwich on Asiago cheese bread. They serve Coke, which is always a plus! The all you can eat french toast for $6 is what really pushed this place over to the 4 star region.

Don't try to get the turkey bacon avacado on a croissant... It can't be made that way! But! You can order the veggie croissant sandwich, pay 2 dollars extra and add turkey! What a joke!!

  • Freckles G.

I've seen Kneaders before, but never bothered to try it. Man was I missing out! I went there while visiting with my parents and was blown away by how good my sandwich was. I got the turkey bacon avocado on foccacia and loved every bit of it. I'll definitely go back!
